CANNON 1D 红外改机教程
You will need these tools & supplies to follow the Canon 1Ds infrared conversion tutorial:
- Infrared filter to replace the hot mirror
- Small philips type screwdriver
- Tweezers
- Canned air
- Lens cleaning solution & tissue
- Grounding strap /w current limit resistor
If you prefer not to risk damage to your camera, have us convert it to infrared for you here. It would be best to perform the conversion in a well lit area that is as clean and dust free as possible. Wearing a grounding strap will minimize the chance of zapping your camera with static and most likely rendering it dead.
Remove thumb grip material.
Peel back the bottom grip material and remove the marked screws.
Remove marked screws.
Remove marked screws.
Remove the name plate.
Peel back the rubber grip and remove the marked screws.
Peel back the rubber grip and remove the marked screws.
Carefully open rear cover to the left and disconnect the marked cables.
Disconnect the marked cable and remove marked screws (blue arrows). Desolder the 2 wires marked with yellow arrows.
Remove marked screws and remove the retaining springs (blue arrows).
Remove the filter spring.
Remove the hot mirror filter.
Install our infrared replacement filter and follow the tutorial in reverse order starting with step 11 to reassemble your camera.
